Interested professional candidates are advised to apply for a national workshop on the theme of Source rocks in Indian Petroliferous Basins which is being organized by Dibrugarh University and sponsored by Oil India Limited.

Workshop will focus on the other topics of Source Rock which are related as –

a) Characterization and recognition in different basins in India.
b) Maturity study of Rocks.
c) Parameter, limitations of Rocks
d) Depositional environments; from petrography, geochemistry, sedimentology, seismic attributes to stratigraphic models.
e) Studies for conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons

Participants will receive up-to-date knowledge on all new and revised technologies and regional case studies from experience and participants. This workshop targets professionals from industry, academia and government agencies like geochemists, basin modelers and exploration geologists in national operating and service companies who have a working interest and knowledge of the characterization and recognition of Indian source rocks.
