Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2016 is notified by the MHRD, New Delhi which will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission into UG level Engineering Programmes in various NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions of India. This time , merit list of candidates will be charted considering both category – weight-age to School Boards marks (40% in class 12th or equivalent examination ) and 60% weight-age to JEE Main 2016.
Other six states as Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha will also participate in JEE (Main) Exam. So candidates belonged to these states are requested to apply online for JEE Main – 2016.
All aspiring candidates are requested to visit JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in from 1st December 2015 to get the details information bulletin. Candidates are also requested apply online carefully after reading all norms and rules.
Online application process will be started from 1st December 2015 .
Last date of online apply for JEE Main – 31st December 2015

JEE (Main) 2016 will be carried out with two papers, Paper-1 will be attended by the B.E. / B. Tech. degree aspiring candidates whereas Paper-2 will attended by B. Arch./ B. Planning.

Other Important Points to be remember while applying for JEE Main 2016:
1. General Category candidates must be born or after October 01, 1991 while others ( SC/ST/PWD ) candidates will get 5 years of relaxation.
2. Only 03 number attempts are permissible while appearing for JEE Main 2016
3. JEE Main Exam Fees will vary depending on the course applying based on candidates gender and caste category. Maximum fees will be Rs 1800/- and Minimum Rs 250/-. So while applying online , candidates are requested to check carefully their options for appearing course details so that no mistake will come into face. Only one per candidate online form will be considered for EXAM.
4. One scanned latest passport photograph and signature of candidates must be available while applying for the JEE Main 2016.
