Interested candidates from teachers / research scholars / technical staff/ students from any educational, research or training institute of engineering, science or commerce domain are invited to participate into a 15 days national level workshop on Matlab. The workshop is being organized by the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (DEE), Gauhati University in association with IEEE Student Branch, Gauhati University.

How to Register:

 Candidates will be shortlisted on first come first basis. The registration process is already started from 23^rd May, 2016 and will be continued till 30^th June, 2016. Offline registration process is going on at ECE Department, Gauhati University. But for outsider, candidates may submit the scanned copies of registration form along with demand draft to ieeesb.gu@gmail.com. Please note that DD should be made in favor of “IEEE student branch GU” payable at Guwahati.

Syllabus of Workshop:

 Details of the workshop are given below for the reference of the candidates –

1. Matlab Basics, Application of Matlab in various fields, GUI, Simulink, H/W interfacing – 3 Days
2. Signal Processing, Biomedical Signal processing, Speech Processing – 2 Days
3. Image Processing, Biomedical Image Analysis, Computer vision, Video Processing. – 3 Days
4. Communication & its application, Next generation wireless network-          3 Days

5. Linear Control System, Nonlinear Adaptive Control and its Emerging Applications   – 3 Days

While sending the registration form, candidates must ensure that they send only recommended form by the Head of the concern department they belong.

Registration will be closed on 30^th June, 2016.

 Venue of Workshop:

 The national level workshop will be held at Seminar Hall, New GUIST Building, Gauhati University from 1st to 15th July, 2016
