Minimum Qualification for admission into MSC , NIT Silchar :
To get into the M. Sc. programme admission in Science subjects, candidates must satisfy the following minimum criteria:
1. 50% marks or 5.5 in CPI / CGPA during Bachelor’s degree in Science ( Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics).
2. Additional 0.5 or 5% can be reduced for the reserve category.
3. Additional any qualification can be added by the respective departments.
Admission Procedure for admission into MSC , NIT Silchar :
After examining the minimum qualification criteria, selected candidates will be eligible for the 2 step screening process conducted by the respective departments to admit into MSc Science Programme.
1. Departmental Written test will be conducted for candidates
2. Personal Interview process will be done to get admission into Msc Programme.
