On behalf of UGC, CBSE has been conducting UGC National Eligibility Test since 27th December, 2015 almost 83 subjects at 88 selected cities spread across the country. This test is primarily set to determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship cum Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges.

Only Indian citizen can apply for this exam.
Now on 4th April-2016, CBSE has announced the notification on the UGC-NET June 2016 that will be held on 10th July – 2016. Interested candidates are advised to apply online from 12th April-2016 .The official link for apply UGC-NET June 2016 online will be available on CBSE official website – http://cbsenet.nic.in/ after 12th April- 2016.

CBSE has also announced that the deadline of online submission of application form has been already set on 12th May 2016 and so no further extension on online apply for UGC – NET June 2016 will be entitled for any causes. Candidates are requested to pay the registration fees on or before 13th May 2016 to avoid any uncertain circumstances.
