Director of Technical Education, Assam asks eligible students to participate Polytechnic Admission Test 2016 for Diploma Courses who are permanent resident of Assam for admission into the following Polytechnics of Assam / outside Assam for the session 2016-17.

All applying candidates must belong from any of the Arts,Science or Commerce stream with educational qualification for various courses as follows –

Process to Apply :
- Interested qualified candidates must visit www.dteassam.in
- Next, click on the option “Online Application for PAT-2016”.
- Before applying to the examination, candidates should have one valid email -id , details of all previous X/XII certificates for reference , Scaned copy of Photograph / Signature
- Once complete the registration form, Print the registration form and also please download e-challan for registration payment at any of the SBI branch. Dont forget to collect transaction number at all.
- Fees of Registration is Rs 400/-
- Complete the registration process once you have submitted the fees.

Details of Examination :
For all Courses except Modern Office Management Course , all Multiple Choice Questions will be asked from Mathematics & Science subjects on HSLC standard for total 100 marks. Exam, date is 22/05/2016 & starts from 10AM to 12 AM
For Modern Office Management Course , All Objective and Subjective questions will be asked from General English & General Knowledge subjects for 100 marks. Exam, date is 29/05/2016 & starts from 10AM to 1 PM
