Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering National Institute of Technology Silchar is organizing a Two-day Workshop on Internet of Things (IoT ) in association with Intel Corporation under its Higher Education Programme on 12-13 October, 2015.

Candidates are advised to submit registration form with recommendation from of the Head of the Dept/Institute with Seal he/she belongs. As only 40 no of seats are available for this program so candidates will be selected on first-come first-served basis. No TA/DA will be entertained for attending this programme.  Faculty and Students from Academic Institutes, Researchers from R&D Organizations having interest in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering and Computer who wish to develop interest in IoT and Embedded System Design, are encouraged to apply for this programme.\

Topics of the Program:

Few important topics will be discussed with the Resource Persons coming from IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati and Intel Corporation, Bengaluru. They are given below –
 Emerging concepts of IoT
 Design methodologies for IoT
 Novel services and applications of IoT
 Building systems with the Intel Galileo Boards as the target.
 Building custom kernels as well as talk about Real Time Issues.
 Security of Embedded Systems
