SQC & OR Unit Indian Statistical Institute , Bangalore in collaboration with School Of Management Science Tezpur University announces Certification Program for SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT for North-Eastern States which will be started from 26 March to 29 March at Tezpur University.
A Short Description about Six Sigma Green Belt :
1. It is a statistical measure of variation with 99.99% accuracy
2. Business philosophy focusing continuous improvement of organization
3. Structured analysis of data with organized process.
4. Methodology for improving the key processes.
5. Anticipation of improving market penetration, investment cost effective , fewer mistakes in performance, disciplined data driven approach.
Eligible for Participation:
The following backgrounds candidates can participate in the workshop .
A) College / University Teachers, Research Scholars
B) Engineering Students (Final year Bachelor degree & Above), MBA Students
C) Industry participants- Diploma / Degree holder in any discipline with basic knowledge of Quality Management- or Experience of involvement in improvement projects is desirable
Timing and location:
The program is scheduled to start from 26 March – 29 March, 2015 at 09.00 to 18.00 hrs
Program will be held in the School of Management Sciences, Tezpur University, Napaam, Sonitpur, Assam-784 028.
Esteem faculties and specialists from both the Indian Statistical Institute and Tezpur University will take sessions in the program.
Very important point is that qualifying certificate will be issued to those sessions attended candidates who can secure 75% marks in the test conducted on the lastday of the workshop session. So be active and alert while you are attending the session.
Fees of Registration :
Even through this program is fully sponsored by Govt of India, a nominal registration fees of Rs 3500/- for non residential candidates ( Those who can manage their accommodation themselves ) and Rs 7000/- for residential candidates ( For accommodation ) has to be paid by the participates . Food is inclusive with the fees.
Candidates must deposit registration fee by Demand Draft favouring “The Registrar,Tezpur University” payable at Tezpur
Process of Registration :
As registration process is going on first –come- first- serve basis so all interested candidates are advised to fill up the complete form and submit it along with DD to Prof. S S Sarkar, Dean, School of Management Sciences, Tezpur University.
