One week Faculty Empowerment Program by MICROSOFT Corporation India Ltd. for University and college teachers which is
jointly organised by Department of Education & Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar is rescheduled to held from 16th to 22nd of January.
As per MHRD – ICT guidelines , Microsoft Program SAKSHAM which is designated with common objective to build connectivity and knowledge network among and within institutions of higher learning in the India.
This workshop is targeted specifically for Non-IT background teachers to learn the basic skills of Integrated Co-Teaching ( ICT) as envisaged by MHRD for finding out opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery in different new technologies around the world.

Eligibility of Participants:
Faculties from any discipline from Assam University and its affiliated colleges specifically NON-IT BACKGROUND are eligible to apply for this training program .

All faculties must submit application forms duly recommended by the Head of the Department/ Institution of that particular college.
Registration Fees: A minimum fee of 1500/- per applicant
Selection of candidates: First come first serve basis selection process is used to fill up the 30 participants. 15 participants are from other institutions backgrounds & 15 candidates from various departments faculty members will be selected for the workshop.
