A two days National Seminar on Globalization at Moridhal College Dhemaji sponsored by ICSSR , New Delhi is organised jointly by Deprtment of English and Assamese , Moridhal College Dhemaji from 28th and 29th March, 2015
Title of the seminar : Abstracts are invited from research scholars on title A Challenge in the Growth and Development of Indigenous Language and Culture in North-East India
Sub themes of the Seminar : Present seminar under the following sub-topics with a view point to correct insight and right direction to understand the impact of globalization.
1. Globalization and its Effects on Regional Language and Culture of the Indigenous Tribes.
2. Language and Culture of the Indigenous Tribes of North East India- Challenges in its Protection and Development.
3. Identity Crisis of the Indigenous Communities at the Advent of Globalization.
4. Globalization and Cultural Change.
5. Globalization and Lingo-Cultural Imperialism.
6. Globalization and Cultural Marketization.
7. Any other related topic.
Important dates of the Seminar : The last date of submission of abstract with full paper as follows —
(a) Last date of submission of Abstract : 20th March, 2015.
(b) Last date of submission of full papers : 24th March, 2015.
—– Candidates are advised to submit 2 sets of hard copy and CD . Organizer is decided to publish the selected abstract volume and proceeding volume respectively with ISBN
(c) Registration fee for Seminar : Rs. 400/- with paper Rs. 300/- without paper Rs. 100/- for students
Expense cum Accommodation : All active participants and presenters of a paper on any of the sub themes given on the outline of the seminar will be provided TA/DA up to 3 AC Train fare or Bus fare . Registration fee for the other states participants will be exempted.
