As per notification , Office of Academic Registrar, Gauhati University announced that they would accept online mode registration from the faculty members for panel of examiners of PhD thesis evaluation. Previously faculty members have to submit either hard copy or email copy of the supported testimonials for the selection as panel of examiners of PhD thesis.
But now Gauhati University is decided to streamlining the process of PhD thesis evaluation. They initiate online mode of registration for registering faculty members information.
Minimum criteria of the Faculty Members before applying:
Interested faculty members must follow the rules mentioned under PhD Regulations, Gauhati University of 2009 before begin the process of filling up this form. Others are –
1. Applying faculty member must be a recognized guide of Gauhati University.
2. Applying faculty member must be one of the supervisors of the PhD candidate.
3. For GU faculty member, candidate must have an Institutional Email ID.
4. For other institute faculty members , They must register their email IDs and phone numbers with the Office of the Academic Registrar. This is very important before start to filling up the registration form. Otherwise they can not submit the form.
