Notification for UGC NET December 2014 Exam to be held on 28th Dec 2014

For the first time , Central Board of Secondary Education , India is organizing on behalf of UGC the National Eligibility Test on 28th Dec 2014 for determining the eligibility of Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. They will conduct in 79 subjects at 89 selected NET Coordinating Institutions spread across the country.

 

Eligibility :

1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions 

2. Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited ORcandidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test

3. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991

4. Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD category are required to submit attested copy of the category Certificate along with online printout of their Application Forms .

Online Form Submission	15th October, 2014 to 15thNovember, 2014
Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee.	15th November, 2014
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of (SYNDICATE/CANARA/ICICI BANK)	18th November, 2014
Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from website	19th November, 2014
Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating Institution opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s)	25th November, 2014

Session Paper Marks Number of Question Duration First I 100 60 out of which 50  question to be attempted 1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.) First II 100 50 questions all are  compulsory 1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON) Second III 150 75 questions all are  compulsory 2 1/2 Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)
