Interested candidates from diverse backgrounds with strong motivation and good academic careers are requested to apply for the admission into PhD Degree specially research areas like cancer biology, infectious diseases, environmental toxicity, adult stem cell biology, metabolic syndrome under National Institute Of Pathology, ICMR, New Delhi. The institute is mainly affiliated to Symbiosis International University, Pune, BITS Pilani, Jamia Hamdard, Delhi for the award of Ph.D. degree.
Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must have the following minimum eligibility criteria for applying into the ICMR PhD Admission Program 2016. They are like –
1. Masters’ degree as M.Sc./M.Tech. with 60% (or equivalent in CGPA) in any branch of Life Science
2. Valid certfied CSIR-UGC (JRF)/ICMR-JRF/DST-INSPIRE fellowship offer. This certification offer must be valid at the time of admission into the PhD admission.
3. Candidates must be domicile of India.
4. Maximum age of the candidate is 28 Years. Relaxation as per govt rules will be applicable to the SC/ST candidates.
Admission Selection Criteria :
Eligibility Criteria fulfilled selected candidates will be informed for the GD/PI through official website of National Institute Of Pathology ICMR along with the Time and Dates . No separate individual mails for any communication regarding PIs.
Candidates may be disqualified if they have found –
1. Canvassing the decision of the Admission Committee in any form.
2. Non submission of appropriate consent letter by already activated JRF fellowships holders at the time of admission.
3. Non fulfillment of eligibility criteria that has been set by the selection committee.
