Birla Institute of Technology and Science , Pilani which is also well known as BITS Pilani among the students announced its admissions to all the Integrated First Degree programmes for the academic year 2015-16. Candidates have to attend the a computer based Online test BITSAT 2015 which will be conducted by BITS, Pilani for getting into the admission. Through the test, this  deemed university opens  admissions to degree programme for its 3 campus located at Pilani campus, Goa campus, and Hyderabad Campus.

List of various degree courses offered via BITSAT 2015 in 3 different campuses as below : 

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT 2015 :

1. None of the candidates can apply for the test without cleared the class 12th examination or only  who are appearing for 12th examination in 2015 of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

2. Candidates  obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects  or Biology subjects in class  12th examination, with 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subject.

3. Very important : Candidates qualified class XII exam in 2013 or before will not eligible for applying the test by any means.

4. Those candidates who are already studying in any of the campus of BITS Pilani are also not eligible for the appearing in the test.

5. University is also announced that fulfillment of the seats will be entitled through the merit list obtained by the candidates in the said exam BITSAT 2015.

 BITSAT 2015  Syllabus and Test  Details:

The NCERT syllabus of Class XI and XII will be used for the test BITSAT-2015. Duration of the said exam is three hours without any break. The test will be conducted in four parts with total 150 questions in English only.

Part I : Physics                        – 40 questions

Part II :  Chemistry              – 40 questions

Part III :  (a) English Proficiency   — 15 questions

(b) Logical Reasoning    — 10 questions

Part IV :  Mathematics or Biology (For B. Pharm candidates) — 45 questions

Type of the questions is multiple choice question bearing 3 marks for each question. Every one negative mark will be given to the each wrong answer of the question. So we suggest aspirants not to give blind answers to the questions that they dont know exactly.

BITSAT 2015   Exam Dates : 

i)  Last date for applying into BITSAT 2015 : 20th  February 2015 

ii) Test center allotment to candidates : 25th February 2015

iii) Candidates can reserve their tests dates. Last date to do so : 1st Mar. – 21st March 2015 

iv)  Download the Hall ticket : 15th April – 30th April 2015

v) BITSAT 2015 Online tests will be started from 14th May to till  29th May 2015 

vi) Apply for preferences to Degree programmes            : 20th May – 30th June 2015 

vii) Date of Admission List and Waiting List announcement    : 1st July 2015 

Apply for BITSAT-2015: 

As only online exam application forms will be entitled for the said test so Candidates are requested to visit
http://www.bitsadmission.com   and fill up the complete form. A mandatory fees for the test BITSAT 2015 is Rs. 2090/ for male candidates while only Rs.1590/- for female candidates has to be paid.

It is a good practice to have or download the complete form for future provision.  Candidates are requested to download Hall Ticket without any mistake to part into the exam. Without Hall Ticket no candidates will get the change to appear in the exam.

Another complete form with details information about the admission, the detailed application procedure and the final list of Degree programmes offered will be available at the BITS website, by 20th May 2015. This complete form with fees must reach The Dean Admissions, BITS Pilani – 333 031  Rajasthan before 30th June 2015.

North East Test Centers for BITSAT-2015: Among 55 test centers for BITSAT 2015, Agartala and Guwahati are also included for said exam as test centers for north eastern students .
