Department of Multimedia Communication and Design (MCD), CIT Kokrajhar has announced to introduce another graduation program Bachelor of Design (B. Des) in Multimedia and Communication affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati, Assam from the academic session 2016 -17.
Programme on Design includes Multimedia, Communication Design, Animation, VFX and many more. This program is considered equivalent to other B Tech courses. This program is already popularized within IITs and IIITs across India because of its market values in terms of innovative processes to solve problems creatively and logically, and determine solutions for a better future.
Tenure of the B. Des. Program is 4 years or 8 semesters subject to no back logs remarks on any courses within the time frame.
Eligibility criteria for B. Des at CIT Kokrajhar:
To take admission into the B. Des program at CIT Kokrajhar, candidates must have the following educational criteria-
- Candidates must appear a screening entrance test and do qualify the same. Name of the test is CITBDAT
- Candidates must qualify 10+2 or HS exam with minimum 50% in aggregate where 5% is relaxed for reserved category candidates.
- A Three years diploma passed candidates from any recognizes institutes.
- Candidate’s upper age limit is 21 years and lower limit is 17 years whereas 3 years relaxation for reserved category. 45 years is the upper age limit for diploma holders.
No of Intakes: 15 Seats only
Interested candidates are advised to apply online/offline through CIT website official website http://admission.cit.ac.in and at CIT Kokrajhar. If any candidate applies online, he must submit the complete downloaded application form along with bank demand draft of Rs 1000/- ( Open/OBC) or Rs 500/-( Reserve Category) payable at Kokrajhar.
CIT Kokrajhar Bachelor of Design Aptitude Test (CITBDAT) :
The CITBDAT is an entrance test, which will be conducted by CIT Kokrajhar, for admission into the 1st semester of Bachelor of Design Degree (B.Des.) programme under direct entry in Department of Multimedia Communication and Design in CIT, Kokrajhar.
