After scrutiny of all submitted application forms for admission into B. Pharm 1st Semester course, list of merit list, based on percentage of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) in Higher Secondary (10 + 2) examination has published by Dept. of Pharm. Sciences Dibrugarh University. Said merit list is prepared without considering category (General/Reserve) of the candidates and with category wise of the candidates.

All applications under Diploma in-Pharmacy category candidates are asked to appear the counseling process.
DU has also made a little relaxation to the candidates who have been failed to update their marks of PCB at the time of submission of forms. Now candidates are advised to appear in front of counseling committee if they have following minimum cut-off marks in PCB as mentioned above Lower Column (Table 1).
North East States have already 40 seats reserved – Assam : 07 (General-03, SC-01, ST-01, Diploma in Pharmacy-02) Nagaland : 02 Mizoram : 02 Manipur : 02 Meghalaya : 02 Arunachal Pradesh : 02 Tripura : 02 Endowment Category : 21
But candidates not belonging to North East India are requested to appear on counseling committee on 25th July,2017 at 10 AM onwards.
What to bring during Counseling Time DU:
Counseling process at Dibrugarh University will be followed as below-
- Candidates must come themselves to appear in front of counseling committee
- Candidates must give their attendance before 12 Noon on counseling day. Otherwise their candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates must bring their original certificates along with 2 set of attested photocopy of the documents so that they can submit it.
- 2 Set of passport size photographs
- Admission fees of Rs 5,800/- ( State Category) , Rs 48,400/- ( Endowment Category) and Rs 2900/- ( Hostel Fees ) must be deposited once counseling is over.
Candidates must ensure about their present at counseling day as no separate call letters will be issued to candidates for attending the counseling process at DU.
Final day of counseling is 27th July 2016.
Candidates outside of North East, counseling date is 25th July,2016.
