Department of Statistics, Gauhati University announced a north east workshop on Statistical Analytics and SPSS jointly organized by Indian Statistical Institute , Kolkata from March 23- 27 , 2015  which will be held at Department of Statistics, Gauhati University

This workshop is targeted the applicants with minimum qualification of Master Degrees in any discipline , teachers , research scholars from universities/institutes. Only north eastern universities candidates can apply for this workshop. Maximum age limit is 50 years of the participants.

Few important points to be remembered by the applying candidates as follows below :

1.  Candidates must be familiar with computer language –
2. Candidates must bring laptop if they have to understand the live demo program
3. Both theoretical and  practical sessions will be conducted in workshop for better understand the tools and techniques for analytically analysis the significance , modelling and size determination those will be applied during the research work preparation .
4. Outstation candidates have to arrange themselves the lodging. Travelling allowance up to Rs 2000/- can be reimbursement by candidates after verification of the money receipts. Maximum DA of Rs 500/- will also be given to the candidates for maximum of 6 days.
