Call for Participation
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, and RESONICS-Society for Promotion of Education and Research in Electronics and Related Areas, Gauhati University in association with Brigosha Technologies Pvt. Ltd., TIC, Technology Complex, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati-781039 is organizing a 7-day National Level Workshop on Algorithm and Application Development using MICROCONTROLLER.
Objective: The objectives of the workshop are to
• Familiarize the participants with microcontroller, embedded system and related applications,
• Provide hands-on skills of programming of microcontrollers,
• Exposure to application development using microcontrollers and embedded systems,
• Algorithm development using PIC- microcontroller and
• Special project-based learning approach including applications of various peripherals with PIC and communication interfaces.
The workshop focuses on different methods and techniques of Algorithm Development based on motion sensors (Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Gyroscope and Static Pressure Sensor). This workshop will provide an insight to build different applications and it is designed to help improve the quality of know-how in related areas. The workshop will be conducted in a full time mode, involving lectures, practical session, demos and hands-on-practice on different topics mentioned
in the detailed Workshop Syllabus.
Workshop Syllabus:
1. Overview of Microcontroller
2. Real time sensor data analysis and features of real time data
3. Important features of real time data and filtering method
4. Real time data modelling and Pattern Detection
5. Different Methods of Features Estimation and Estimation Algorithms
6. Implementation on Embedded Systems and different methods of optimization
7. Project on Algorithm Development
