National Level Training-Cum-Workshop On Research Methodology for Social Sciences

Objective of the Training/Workshop:
The Department of Sociology, Tezpur University, Assam is going to organize a ten day National Level Training-Cum-Workshop on Research Methodology for Social Sciences during March 11(Monday) – March 19 (Tuesday), 2013. This workshop is designed to impart acquaintances on
Research Methodology in the context of qualitative and quantitative research along with hands on training in SPSS across the various disciplines of Social Sciences.
Who can apply?
Candidates who have enrolled for PhD or intending to enroll in any branch of Social Sciences are encouraged to apply in the prescribed format attached.
How to apply?
Interested candidates can apply to the Workshop coordinators along with a brief write-up or statement of purpose with duly filled up registration form on or before February 28, 2013.
Time & Venue of the Workshop:
The Workshop will be conducted during March 11(Monday) – March 19, 2013 (Tuesday). The workshop will be organized at the Conference room of the New Guest House, Tezpur University, Assam. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided at the venue.
Accommodation & Travel Allowance:
Accommodation will be provided to the outstation participants. Travel allowance (bus or train fare) will be reimbursed to the outstation participants as per rules.
