Duration: 11 March ‘2013 to 04 April 2013
Module 1. Basics of PC Hardware Maintenance (11-16 March 2013)
Topics: Identification of the components, Trouble Shooting, Assembly of components, Formatting, OS installation
Resource Person:

Duration – 11 hrs. (4PM-6PM From Monday to Saturday) Theory: 4Hrs, Hands on Training: 7Hrs.
Test on
Module 1: Marks – 50, Time – 1 hr (on Saturday)
Module 2. Basics of Networking (18-23 March 2013)
Topics: Interconnection of PCs, workgroup creation, UTP Cabling, IPV4, Troubleshooting

Duration – 11 hrs. (4PM-6PM From Monday to Saturday)

Module 3. Basics of Website Designing (25 March – 4 April 2013):
Topics: Using HTML, CSS to build web pages

Theory: 4Hrs, Hands on Training: 7Hrs.
Test on Module 3: Marks – 50, Time – 1 hr. (on Saturday)

i) Students of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication, Assam University
ii) Students of the Department of Information Technology, Assam University
iii) Students of the Department of Electrical Engg. Silchar Polytechnic
iv) Students of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engg. Silchar Polytechnic
Intake capacity: 30
Terms and Conditions:
1) Interested candidates may submit the Registration form on or before 7th March 2013. The Registration form is also available at http://www.aus.ac.in/computercentre.htm.
2) The name of the selected/shortlisted candidates will be intimated through telephone by 8th March and will be also given in the web site.( http://www.aus.ac.in/computercentre.htm)
Registration Fees: The selected /shortlisted candidates have to deposit Rs. 1000.00 (In the
form of demand Draft in favour of Assam University Silchar payable at
Silchar or Money Transfer in the Account no. 20050100000007) with in
11th March 2013. Only the students who submit the course fees will be
considered for the Training Course.
