1. Conceptual and methodological understanding of Tribal livelihood and assessment
2. Cultural values, ethics, norms, adaptation and strategies
3. Management of resources, Conflict resolutions, negotiations and governance
4. Livelihood Asset – Human, Physical, natural, Financial, Social
5. Livelihood sources – Agriculture, horticulture, forestry, NTFP (bamboo), rubber,
Sericulture, handloom& Handicraft, Animal resource, etc.
6. The role of institutions, including the interrelation between local communities,
educational & training institutes, NGOs and the state (various Government
departments)
7. Policy, Entitlement, empowerment and property rights
8. Gender aspects and social change
9. Vulnerability and outcome
CALL FOR PAPERS:
• Interested participants must submit the abstract (around 250 words) and full paper
in .doc/.docx format (Font: Times New Roman, 12 pts.) typed in double space
leaving in 1.5 inch margin on left side and 1.25 inch in other sides on A-4 paper through email to jayantard@gmail.com .
• The paper should be original one, not submitted / published elsewhere.
• The abstract of the selected papers will be eligible for publication in the
Conference proceedings.
• A few selected papers may be published in TUI (A journal on Tribal Life & Culture,
Published by Tribal Research & Cultural Institute, Govt. of Tripura; ISSN No- 2319-
7382)/ Edited Book subject to review exclusively based on merit.
• The APA Referencing style guide may be followed.
