A National Seminar on Infrastructural Development in North Eastern India will be organized by the Department of Economics, Bodoland University, Kokrajhar, BTC, Assam at Bodoland University which is also sponsored by ICSSR.
Sub-Themes of the Seminar : Other sub themes are mentioned below for the reference of the participants –
a. Infrastructural development in North Eastern States.
b. Power sector: thermal, hydro, bio gas
c. Role of financial institutions for infrastructural development in north eastern states.
d. Rail/Road infrastructure of NE-India
e. Border gateways infrastructure of NE-India
f. Repercussions of look-east policy on NE India’s Infrastructure
g. East-West corridor and its implications to NE India
h. Role of Government agencies for Infrastructural development
Guidelines of the Paper :
All participants are advised to submit the manuscript as well as main paper in the format given below so that selected papers can be published into Proceedings/ Book form with ISBN.
1. Abstract must be within 200 words with maximum 5 key words
2. Full Paper with headings like -Introduction, Objectives, Methods, Rationality, Literature Review, Hypothesis (if any), Results, Conclusion and Reference must be within 3000 words and A4 Paper size format
3. Participants are advised to submit paper via mail to: ecobu2015@gmail.com
Registration Fee for Seminar:
Organising Committee is decided to go with spot registration process on 30 October 2015 by Cash mode only. All other means of registration fees will not be accepted. Depending on the type participants of participation into seminar – Without Paper: Rs. 400/- and With Paper & Publication: Rs. 1000/- where as additional Rs 500/- will be charged for each co-author of the paper
Accommodation:
Participants are advised to arrange at their own cost for their accommodation but details of the hotels/other facility will be available in the university website.
