10 Days Workshop on Communication Design Principles at IDC, IIT BOMBAY
CDP 2013 is a hands-on program with a special focus on photography and understanding the principles of Communication Design. This program is envisaged such that students from different cultures form teams and collectively explore and address design issues. Students from Kansas State University will participate in this program. Americans students have already registered in this program. During the workshop Indian students will engage in individual as well as group activities in and outside the classroom setting by forming teams with American students. This course is designed to foster a sense of inquiry in the minds of students, while engaging in art and design practices. The idea is to question design decisions and check for effective communication strategies. Indian Students will work in collaboration with faculty and students from America and together we will gain valuable cultural experience. This ‘learning by doing’ program will be augmented with theory in form of lectures & discussions.

ELIGIBILITY :
This 10 day bootcamp is meant for undergraduate and postgraduate students of design, applied arts, communication design, fine arts, photography, filmmaking, fashion communication and animation. Participants will be selected based on their portfolios and statement of intent/ purpose.
