Department of English, Dibrugarh University is organising a four day workshop on “Creative Writing in English” on 20-23 March, 2014. The workshop will cover the major areas/genres of creative writing such as poetry, fiction, short story and non-fiction. It will also focus on the problematics of writing in a second language as well as the art of editing. Apart from this a special session will be devoted towards the logic of production and consumption and/in its relation to market forces. In a nutshell, the workshop intends to cater to the imagination of the upcoming creative writers and familiarise them with the basics of a field which lacks a defined conceptual framework.

Registration Fee- 1200/- (non-students)
500/- (students)
The outstation participants shall have to inform well in advance for accommodation and bear extra charges for the same. The registration fee can be paid in cash or in the form DD drawn in favour of “Forum for English Studies, Dibrugarh University” Dibrugarh. Those who are paying through DD are requested to send a scanned copy of the same on or before 14th March to any of the under mentioned email-ids to confirm their registration.
