Department of Women’s Studies, Gauhati University is organizing Certificate Course in Gender Studies which will be particularly beneficial as an introductory course to students interested in pursuing gender and women’s studies within academics and research.

Eligibility: Graduates, NGO/GO Workers, policy makers researchers and any other interested person. Graduates from any discipline will be eligible for the course. Working professionals from any field are also eligible to apply.


Course structure: Two papers of 80 marks and 6 (six) credits each equal to total of 12 (twelve) credits.


Course Fees: Rs. 1500/- (One thousand five hundred only) Duration: 3(three) months (November, December, January, 2014-15)


Intake Capacity: 20 (Twenty)
