For this group of students, during the tenure of the study period , Now Government of Assam has decided to provide one time  grant/financial assistance to encourage to  achieve excellence in their relevant field of study.

Who can apply for the scheme 😐

a) Students selected and admitted in any national and International Institutions in the year 2014.

b) Students who are domiciles of Assam.

c) Students who obtain scholarship, grant-in-aid and sponsorship from Govt. of Assam, Govt. of India and/or others donors are also eligible to obtain Assistance under the scheme.

d) Applications from candidates admitted prior to 2014-15 will not be considered.

e) No drop-out period will be covered under the scheme

f) Progress Report duly signed by the respective Head of Institution for the continuation of the same for the year 2014-15.

 Details of Financial Assistance :

a) Rs. 30,000/- per year for Degree level courses

b) Rs. 36,000/- per year for Master Degree level courses

c) One time amount of Rs. 1.00 Lakh instead annual financial assistance. to the students who have got admission in to IIT and IIM

d) The installment in subsequent years will be released only on satisfactory academic performance during the previous year
