Regional Science Centre, Guwahati is a science  museum which was set up in 1994 with the basic purpose to promoting science education  in non formal way among  the students &  teachers. They are also organizing a science fair on regular basis  in its premises during January month since long every year.  This time also another a state level Science & Engineering Fair will be held at Regional Science Centre, Khanapara, Guwahati on 29th & 30th of January, 2016 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Each educational institute or school can send maximum two science models related to the Science and Engineering and may be presented by maximum two students and one escort teacher/ faculty. During the exhibition days, they will have to be present with their models at the venue .

Prizes are given to selected models only which will be chosen by Jury. All participants get participation certificates at end of the  Science Fair.

Students from all the districts of Assam are invited to participate in the fair with their innovative science models.
