A Poster Competition will be organized on the occasion of National Science Day which is celebrated all over India on 28th of February every year by School of Sciences, IGNOU to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist, Sir C. V. Raman on any science related theme of students interest.
Other science themes are included herewith :

>Environment
>Science for Development
>Basic Science
Important points to take care of during the submission of the poster:
1. Maximum size of the poster can be A3 (29.7 cm x 42.0cm) only .
2. Please write “POSTER COMPETITION” on the envelope during the submission of poster to the following address –
Room No. 123/132, School of Sciences, Block D, Academic Complex IGNOU, Maidangarhi, New Delhi 110068
3. If students want to submit online then must be submitted by email to: smalhotra@ignou.ac.in with cc to sos@ignou.ac.in with “POSTER COMPETITION” as the Subject of the email.
4. The last date for submitting the poster: 20.02.2015.
Organizers are decided to give special prizes and certificates to the three best entries and certificates of commendation for some worthy entries based on the themes they are applied. All best posters will be displayed on the exhibition at the School of Sciences IGNOU on 27.02.2015
