Earthfest 2015, first annual festival of Geology Department of Cotton College State University will be started from the morning 23rd November, 2015. During the event, Many renowned scientists of our country from various disciplines like planetary, space and atmospheric sciences will give their presentations on various topics. Along with,  a number of events like quiz, debate and poster competitions will also be hosted  during the fest.

Students and research scholars, faculty members  from Universities, Colleges and Research Institutes are requested to participate in the various events and interactive sessions during the fest .

Detailed overview of the various events is listed for  the reference of the participants :-

1. Quiz Competition : Theme of the quiz session will be on planet Earth. Per team only 2 participants are allowed.

2.  Poster Competition: Primarily participation is for research scholars. But may be extended to  postgraduate and undergraduate students.

3. Debate Competition :  Theme of the debate is  “Climate change is a major obstruction for development in emerging economies like India”
