As per Gauhati University press released on 7 april 2015 , a one day State Level Convention on Semester System will be held at Gauhati University campus on April 21 , 2015 . Registration forms are invited from the various academicians , intellectual and representative of students bodies or any students who would like to participate into  the convention .

Title of the Convention :   “Challenges of Semester System at Under Graduate Level Education ” 

Why this Convention :  To discuss the various issues related to –

1. Existing semester system issues related to UG level which is implementing currently.
2.  Various problems faced by the students and colleges
