The PhD Admission entrance test for the session 2014-15 of the department of Mathematical Sciences, Bodoland University has been declared . This time the entrance exam will be started from 31st January 2015 at 11 am . Location for exam is planned at departmental conference hall. Total questions to be asked on the exam are 80 those are multiple choice questions.

Syllabus for the Test : Depending on the excess candidates participated for the exam the syllabus of the entrance test is modified as follows : –

- Ordinary differential equation
3. PDE(Partial differential equation of second order, linear equations with constant coefficient, classification of linear 2nd order equations in two independent variables. Classifications of quasi linear equations. Characteristic curves of 2nd order equations. Laplace’s equation, The wave equation, The diffusion equation.)
4. Fluid dynamics.
5. Tensor
6. Mathematical Methods(Fredholm Integral Equations, Voltera Integral Equation, Fourier Transform, Laplace Transform, Calculus of Variation).
7. Relativity and Cosmology (Tensor, Special Theory of Relativity, Electrodynamics, General Relativity, Cosmology.)
8. Real Analysis.
9. Algebra. 10. Functional Analysis. 11. Complex Variable. 12. Number Theory. 13. Graph Theory. 14. Topology.
All selected candidates on the test must be there because on the same day (31.01.2015 ) the university will organize the personal interview session. The personal interview will be started from 2 PM onwards.
