Now onward, Candidates must apply online for the admission into Four-Year B. Tech programme 2015 by the Dibrugarh University under DUIET approved by the AICTE.
Before start for the online application process , candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully to avoid mistake in between the filling up the form which may point you to reject your application form. Few of them are mentioned below for all your reference –
> The candidate must have valid email id before proceeding.
>Candidate shall have to register for a Username and a Password to login
> 5 steps must be finished by the candidates –
> Please keep the XII- mark sheet for quick apply
> In 4th step , candidates have to make a challan payment, The candidates shall have to make payment a fee of Rs. 500/-(five hundred only) as the application fee through bank challan which will get downloaded from the site while filling up the form.
> In step 5th, the candidates are advised to finish the process.
In addition to above , Every candidate must have 2 copies of the documents which will be uploaded at the fourth stage of the application process. Please ensure that the files should be less than 512kb each.

Details of Departments and Educational Eligibility:
For Fresh Candidates :
Minimum qualification for apply online for the graduation courses of below mentioned departments are 50% average marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics under AHSEC , Assam
Computer Science & Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Petroleum Engineering
For Lateral Entry Scheme:
i) 3-Year Diploma in respective Branch of Engineering and Technology from State Council for Technical Education, Assam or equivalent as recognized by SCTE
ii) 3-Year B.Sc. with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in aggregate.
Lateral Entry is subject to get admission into the Third Semester B.Tech. programmes /
Important Dates:
First Counseling cum Admission will be started from 17.07.2015
Another admission test will be conducted for Lateral Entry 21.07.2015
Declaration of results of admission test for Lateral Entry: 22.07.2015
Second Counseling /Lateral Entry Admission will be done if any seat will remain vacant: 25.07.2015
Admission to endowment seats/ waiting list will be notified later date
