As per official notification of DTE, Kahilipara, Candidates with diploma holders, applied for the joint lateral entry examination 2016 to admission into 3rd semester of bachelor engineering, are informed that the date of scheduled exam is deferred due to some technical reasons.
Reason behind the postponed of exam date is joining with the dates of two separate exams – Power Grid Interview Date and Scheduled JLEE Date. As many candidates are appearing the Power Grid interview, so JLEE organizing authority has decided to postpone the JLEE exam date.
Candidature for eligibility by diploma holders for appearing into the said JLEE exam 2016 is subject to qualification from the institutions under State Council of Technical Education, Assam
List of participating institutions for JLEE:
For admission into bachelor engineering 3rd semester, appearing candidates must ensure about the list of institutions those are participating the JLEE 2016.
They are following as –
- Assam Engineering College, Guwahati
- Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat
- Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat
- Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar
Candidates must appear a 3 hours of test for 100 marks. 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer whereas 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Competent authority of organizing exam has announced the 2nd July, 2016 for the new date for examination of JLEE 2016 instead of scheduled 26th June,2016. New date of examination will be printed on fresh admit card.
