JEE Main  2016 ,the 4th Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions,Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions etc where performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying examination marks shall also be considered.  Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India,  notified that  the merit/rank list  shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE (Main). The weightage to school board/equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization of seats.

Candidates from the states of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha are advised to apply for JEE Main 2016

to get  admission to the institutions in these said above states.  If any  candidate wants to take  admission into undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs then JEE (Advanced) must clear through  Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) of JEE (Main).

Good news for candidates who missed out to apply for JEE Main 2016. Now last date for submission of the online form of JEE (Main) – 2016 and uploading of images has been extended up to 11.01.2016 (11.59 PM) . The fee structure based on categories may be paid by the candidates through credit/debit card up to 12.01.2016 (11.59 PM) & through e- challan up to 12.01.2016  . It is further informed that the other terms and conditions for filling up the application form will remain same.
