Departmental Research Committee in Computer Science, Dibrugarh University has announced the final approved syllabus of one semester pre-registration course work for the Ph.D. programme in Computer Science for the academic session 2015-2016.
This new syllabus will effect from January 2016.
Other Important points are mentioned below for the reference of the candidates –
1. One semester pre-registration course work for the Ph.D. programme in Computer Science is consisted by 4 courses. Research Methodology, Two Optional Courses and Assignment
2. Each course will carry 100 marks.
3. Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate to pass a course paper individually. Provision for second chance only in the failed paper(s) will be applicable after 3 months but considering the last chance to pass the exam.
4. The candidates passed in the Ph.D. Pre-registration Course Work with Grade B or above (Marks securing 60% -70%) will become eligible for Ph.D. registration
