Oil India Limited is sponsoring a 2 Day National workshop which is being organized by the K.D.M.Chair Professor, Dibrugarh University on Source Rocks in Indian Petroliferous Basins.

Interested candidates from various – industry, academia and government agencies diplomats are requested to register their nominations for their participations through mail or post and submit their abstracts.

Candidates are also requested to present their original manuscripts related to advances in source rock related fields, their experiences and challenges, and demonstrate relevant technologies, regional case studies and solutions

Other sub-themes will be covered as follows –

1. Source Rock characterization and recognition in different basins in India.
2. Source Rock maturity study.
3. Source rock parameter, limitations.
4. Source Rock depositional environments; from petrography, geochemistry, sedimentology, seismic attributes to stratigraphic models.
5. Source Rocks studies for conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons

Date of the workshop:  1^st and 2^nd September, 2016

Registration Fees:    Registration cum accommodation fees of total Rs 3500/- must be deposited by the candidates through cash payment or NEFT payment process. Please keep the fees deposit slip for future use.
